Cancellation and Refund

Effective Date: 2nd September 2025

At Chikavaa, we value your trust and aim to provide you with high-quality products and a smooth shopping experience. This policy has been designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and protection for both customers and Chikavaa, while strictly preventing misuse or fraudulent claims.

1. Order Cancellation

  • Before Dispatch:
    You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not been shipped.

  • After Dispatch:
    Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled under any circumstances. Customers may request a return/exchange only after delivery, subject to eligibility below.

2. Return & Refund Eligibility

Returns are accepted only within 3 days of delivery, provided:

Eligible if:

  • The item is unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with all tags, labels, and invoice intact.

  • The delivered product is defective, damaged, or incorrect, with valid proof.

  • Size/fit issue is reported with mandatory video proof (tags must be intact).

Not Eligible if:

  • Tags or labels are cut, broken, or removed.

  • Item is used, washed, altered, or tampered with.

  • Customized, altered, or made-to-order items.

  • Discounted, clearance, or sale items.

  • Innerwear, dupattas, or hygiene-related products.

  • Requests made after 3 days of delivery.

3. Mandatory Guidelines (Strict Rules to Prevent Fraud)

Unboxing Video Requirement

  • A clear, continuous, unedited video must be recorded while opening the package.

  • The video must show:

    • Parcel from all sides before opening.

    • The complete unsealing and product reveal in a single take (no cuts/pauses).

    • Any defect, damage, or wrong product clearly.

  • No video = No return/refund/exchange.

Condition of Product

  • The product must remain unused, unwashed, untampered, with all tags intact.

  • Trying the product for size is allowed only if the tags are still attached.

  • Products with removed/damaged tags will be rejected immediately.

Size or Fit Issues

  • Customers must provide a video clearly showing the fit issue with tags intact.

  • Requests without proper video proof will be considered invalid.

Approval & Verification

  • Chikavaa’s quality team will inspect the submitted video and returned product.

  • Only genuine cases will be approved.

  • Chikavaa reserves the right to reject claims if evidence is insufficient, suspicious, or fraudulent.

  • Decision of Chikavaa will be final and legally binding.

4. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be initiated only after the returned product is received and passes inspection.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

  • Shipping charges, Cash-on-Delivery (COD) fees, and handling charges are strictly non-refundable.

  • If the return is rejected (tags removed, used, tampered, or fraudulent claim), the product will be reshipped to the customer at their cost, and no refund will be given.

5. Exchange Policy

  • Free Exchange: If the delivered product is wrong, damaged, or defective (with valid video proof).

  • Paid Exchange: For size or preference changes, customer must bear return + re-delivery charges.

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability. If unavailable, refund (as per policy) will be processed.

6. Legal Protection & Fraud Prevention

  • Any attempt to misuse this policy by submitting false claims, edited videos, used/tampered products, or fraudulent returns will lead to immediate rejection and may invite legal action.

  • Chikavaa reserves the right to blacklist accounts, cancel orders, or refuse service in case of repeated suspicious activities.

  • By purchasing from Chikavaa, the customer automatically agrees to this policy and accepts that Chikavaa’s decision in all matters will be final, fair, and binding.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

  • If you haven’t received your refund within 10 working days:

    1. Check your bank/card account.

    2. Contact your bank/card issuer as processing times may vary.
